All I can think is that a recent cumulative update to Windows may be the cause? It is like Windows just does not have any bluetooth functionality at all and I am losing my mind trying to solve this puzzle. I am at a complete loss as to what in the blue flark is going on here. This is evident by the "csr bluecore bluetooth" under USB controllers I installed bluetooth drivers, I tried plugging the dongle into every possible USB port on my PC.nothing works.ĭevice manager however recognises that a bluetooth dongle is plugged in. So I re-installed Widnows 11 using the "Reset" function. So I thought my bluetooth dongle must have blown up, so I bought a new one. Select on bottom 'Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my Computer'. Select' Browse my computer for driver update'. Right click on 'CSR' and select Update Driver. Click on the small arrow next to either 'Bluetooth' or 'Universal Serial Bus controllers'. The bluetooth service however is present and running, but this makes no difference. In the search type' Device manager ' and open it. It is like anything related to bluetooth has just vanished! No bluetooth in the action center, no bluetooth in device manager, in Settings, there is no way to turn bluetooth on as there should be. Then suddenly, out of the blue, bluetooth stops working. So I am on Windows 11 beta build 22000.348 and up to a few days ago, I had perfect bluetooth functionality via a bluetooth USB dongle.
